Thanks so much for the info on the new show. There is another w/ a similar name but this one looks more interesting. Have a great party. By the way, great new profile picture!

The show looks great; thanks for the info. I'm not at the level to do that yet, financially, but wow would it be fun. Guess I'll live vicariously until then.

Rachel (Hounds in the Kitchen)

Do you watch American Pickers? We have a trial subscription to netflicks and I'm totally addicted to the pair of antique resellers who travel the midwest searching for profitable sales. I think it's on History channel normally.

Linda @ A La Carte

This looks like a fun show! Thanks for the info and I will watch for sure! I did watch American Pickers and enjoyed it. This looks even better!

Teresa Raines

Thanks for the heads up Selena. I actually bought the contents of a storage unit once because it had a vintage doll buggy in it. Most of the stuff was junk but I still have the doll buggy.

You just might be the coolest person I know (well, sort of know)!

Citysister

That sounds like a crazy pseudo job...especially if they have no idea what is in the storage container!

As always, you are full of great tips! I'm going to set up the DVR right now! Sounds like a great show! Can't wait!

Jackie

Wow, you can tell I'm tired when reading this is at 3am: When I first clicked on this entry I thought the show was called "Action Hunters." And I was wondering how a show called "Action Hunters" could have anything to do with thrifting, lol.

Well, I guess it could...if you have to fight little old ladies to get to the granny sweaters or something, lol.

But thanks for the heads-up. This show looks promising.

Robin ;-)

Oh great, another show for me to watch!;-)American Pickers is one of my favorite shows so I am looking forward to seeing this, too. I need to go set my DVR right now so I don't forget!

laura

would LOVE to join you, unfortunately my husband doesn't think flying to watch a tv show is money well spent :)

heartAH

The show is on at 10pm Eastern, 9pm Central, 8pm Mountain and 10pm Pacific.

Van

AND...I wish I could join your party and watch "Thrify TV". Not just for the show, but because your popcorn looks delicious in your blog posts. Mmm...popcorn...

Looks like A&E has a similar show that starts on Wednesday - Storage Unit Wars. I think that's the title - I only caught a portion of the promo. It looks like fun - Folks get 5 min. to check out a storage unit and then they start bidding. It might be good and it might not!

Guusje

Just saw the promo again - it's called Storage Wars and it looks like fun - and a good way to pick tips on what to sell and what not to sell.
