I just wanted to introduce you my Little Shop. Two nights ago at 2 a.m. I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. I finally gave in to the fact that I wasn't going to fall asleep anytime soon so I got busy creating another blog.
I often get emails from readers wanting to purchase items from Thrift Share Monday. What I plan to do is simultaneously do my Thrift Share post while placing some items in my Little Shop until I list them on Etsy. So you all can get first dibs on anything for sale. I also plan to sell items that don't quite fit eBay, Etsy or Amazon but might interest some of you.
Little Shop will be a little shop full of wonders and vintage sweetness.
I've also created a Facebook page for my Little Shop. I plan on listing new items through the FB page so that readers will know when something is posted.
I plan on listing items that are Waldorf, Crafty, Vintage, Book & Ephemera related and so on. If there is anything that you'd like to see there please let me know.
Sadly, Typepad has stopped maintaining widgets which means the shopping cart paypal widget is not available so buying items will be a bit old school. First person to leave a comment showing interest will be contacted by me. I'll send you paypal details or my address for sending checks. Most prices will include US shipping so you won't have to worry about extra cost added to the listed price.
I'm hoping this will be a fun little shop for both my readers and for me. Again if you are looking for anything in particular to be added to the shop, just let me know in the comments.

Awesome! Fabulous! Great idea!

This sounds like a wonderful idea. Wishing you all the best.
Personally I love it because I am not much of an online shopper but since it is right there on FB I will be more likely to pop over and take a peek.
Now- go take a nap!

good for you. i am always inspired by how you share a problem (needing more of your efforts to generate income... a few weeks ago) and then you take action and start sharing your solutions. happy selling to you!
i have not used this paypal option yet (so i haven't verified this process), but i've thought i might soon.

You can put the "paypal buy now" code in any part of your article or website as long as you paste the code into the HTML or javascript section of the website or blog.

Awesome Selena. I was checking out the Little Shop the other day and saw the Waldorf doll kit for sale, along with some other cuteness. I'll be checking regularly.

Very cool! I think it's a great idea to put things in your Little Shop at same time you do the thrift share. It saves time because you're taking the photos anyhow, and if someone buys, you don't have to go list it. And that's true that there's different markets for the different types of shops (Etsy, Ebay, self-hosted shop), which is a good reason for having more than just one. Looking forward to seeing more Little Shop items!
