My April Numbers:
- eBay Sales for the last 30 days: $2353.78 (actual sales before fees)
I don't have my other numbers gathered yet. It felt as if I took the entire month of April off so I'm overall very happy with my eBay sales. I'm pretty sure my sales through bookselling will be at least a $1,000 if not more.
My Goal for April was to get my average listings to 150. I wasn't able to achieve this at all due to my little ReSelling burnout. I'm okay with that. I have to be otherwise I wouldn't get back on the ReSelling wagon. This week I have focused on books and I must say the change was lovely. For anyone with a scanner personality a little bit of change is sometimes needed in business.
My Goals for May:
- list 100 store items on eBay
- list 300 books and media items to Amazon
- List 20 items in Little Shop
- List 20 auctions
I'm going to really try to reach my numbers and hopefully hit above my targets which would keep me in line for my Summer Investment goals.

I didn't quite reach my goals for April either (it went by so fast!), but I am still happy with what I accomplished. I posted 50 new listings on my Etsy shop for the month of April and sold 25 (some of these items sold were from last month's listings). I opened my shop on March 9th and have sold a total of 41 listings. It feels pretty good! Thanks for the inspiration as always. :)
Next month is going to be very busy so I think I will shoot for posting 45 new items in my Etsy shop this May.

We ended up listing 56 items for Etsy and our main shop, so we hit our target of 50 items we'd planned for this month. To be honest, I wasn't "playing" the challenge that hard because the month has been busy with non-shop related things.
I did notice a pick-up this month in sales - I think that it may be a slight carryover delay from the huge push we made in February's Reseller challenge. Also, finally hit 200 items in the Etsy store, though it keeps dropping below, since people buy things!
Planning that the next couple of months may not have as much time to commit to reselling. But will probably try keep up the same listing numbers for May - 50 new listings combined in the etsy store and the main shop.

I listed only 7 items this month and it was definitely one of the slowest month's I've had on Etsy. I need to remember that when I list new items I ultimately make more sales of both new and previously listed items. I did complete a commissioned hat for someone who found me via my flickr photo stream so that's a good thing and good to remember that other sites can be a way to drive interest to your store.

My goal was to list fifty items on Ebay. The most I've ever had listed at one time and I made it~! I didn't meet my other goal to list several things on Amazon but I listed a few.
My May goal is going to be to list 75-100 things on Ebay.

I did list over 50 items on eBay, although currently I don't run a store; I'm not sure if I would get my money's worth at this point. I did thrift at least once each week, and kept adding new items. I'm pleased to say I've done better than March, although it's still under $500 for the month! But you are definitely inspiring me to be more aggressive in my pursuit, and I've got hopes for May! My goal is to be able to support myself thru the summer when my job at the University is on vacation, but my bills aren't!

I'm new to etsy and to the challenge. Word on the street is that the magic number is to have 100 items in your store. I've got a long way to go.

I am still terrified of listing. Mostly it the pictures. Next year I will be working every other day and hope reselling will supplement our income. The other terror is negative feedback.
There, I admitted it.

Janell - I have also heard that, but the closer I get to 100 listings on Etsy the slower my sales get... :/ Not really sure why! (I'm sure there is some other reason for the slower sales, but I can't put my finger on it!)

April wasn't too good, but I knew it wouldn't be. We went away for 2 weeks, cutting down the amount of listings that I could do. My goal is to list 100 things for my Etsy store, 50 things on Ebay and start listing books to sell (for some reason this last one scares me- I guess because it is new).
Good Luck everyone! And thank you Selena for your inspiration!

I pretty much sucked it up in April. My goal was to list 50 items on eBay - I only listed 5. I have taken a lot of pictures and am ready to start listing things full force in May. I notice that when I list things, even if it is just a few items, my sales pick up. I am shooting for 50 items again in May. I hope to exceed that as I need to move some stuff out. Here's to a new month!

My eBay goal was $500 profit, I did $200.
I had 20 sales (5 international) which were 4 auction style, 13 fixed price, 3 best offer. Anyone else experience a surge of sales around the 20th? That was the day my DSR star rating improved, was wondering if that was related, or not. (I had shipping cost dings from December's sales)
I successfully got my PPI (profit per item) UP! So less effort - better margins! And I've started the Etsy learning curve and listed 3 items. (bogged down now on how to do the shipping costs - I'm used to eBay's calculated system for closer predictions)
My April can be summed up as strategically successful, yet OPH (other priorities happened) and my focus was not on listing.

I'm hoping to list 10 new things to my Etsy this month. I'm hoping to list at least 10 new books to my Amazon, too, but I'm mostly selling from my own collection, and it's hard to part with things. I'll be moving into an apartment soon(I'm getting married!) and I need to downsize my collectibles completely!
