Spanish Revival Tile Table $4
I found my summer project at a yard sale on Saturday. It's vintage and the tiles copied the style of many other California tiles of that era. The tiles were poorly made but I still think it will be fun to restore and have out on the patio during the summer.
In all actuality I received more value from the 4 dollars I spent on this table by the education I learned while researching California tiles. I came across this fabulous website all about California Tiles. I've learned so much from this website and doing a completed search on eBay.
Last week was very busy with school ending. Summer has officially kicked off for us. The children don't go back to school until after Labor Day. It's been very exciting to schedule and plan our summer.
I've had a lot of clarity on what I need to do to take my life and business forward. I'm going to let go of a lot of things and instead focus on what I love and what will make the most money. For now I'm going to continue posting Thrift Share Share Monday posts but daily post will not be as consistent. I'll try to write a post in the next two weeks about some of these changes and how it will affect ATG and some of my reselling. I feel really good about the changes ahead for me.
For now, I'm excited to hear about your thrifting weekend.
Did you go thrifting this weekend?

Wow, we have another 5 weeks to go until school breaks up, they're only just back after half term. Love the colours in that table.
Not sure where my image has disappeared to in this week's link up!

I love your California Tiles table... such beautiful glaze colors! I don't blame you for reassessing your schedule. Blogging, reselling, etc is time consuming and sometimes we just have to back away a little to stay sane!

I've found this great Regal food tote, but it's missing its handling bail. The metal rod that holds all the pieces together. Any ideas on where to find a replacement? I've already emailed the manufacture and they don't have any since the item was discontinued in the 80's. The picture of it is up top, #15.
Happy summer with your kids!

Hi Selena,
Your Monday Thrift Share party is such a great way to start off the week! Are the tiles in your table made by Bauer? I seem to remember there was some connection with those tables...I posted about a couple of weekend finds; including vintage satin ribbon, floral prints and 2 stinky brides!
xoxo

What a beautiful table. I can't wait to see how the finished project turns out. :)
Regarding your posting changes, I will miss my daily ATG fix, but totally understand. I look forward to seeing what lies ahead for you, and have no doubt your changes will pave the way for getting everything you want.

The table is gorgeous! Good luck figuring out your new schedule and getting it all together. It's SO much easier when you just LET GO of trying to do too much-- and when you don't stress over not being able to do it all. We have to do it all in baby steps and keep experimenting to see what works!

Hi Selena, I think it's a huge mistake for you to only post on Mondays!
Not only will I personally miss your daily (or almost daily) posting but I think you will lose a lot of traffic. I know for myself there's another blog I used to read daily and as her postings became less and less I visited her blog less and less and never even check in now. I think many blog followers are the same.
You have an impressive blog that I think many people read daily~probably more than you even know. You have a very unique and interesting personality that's fun to keep up with.
I hope you'll reconsider and post much more often than once a week. :)

Awesome table! I just love those finds that cause us to do some research and learn new things. Myself, I learned so much about the old Oneida Community by researching a platter I found at the thrift store years ago.....
I'll be keeping an eye on how you do with your new work plan, I recently quit my job to stay home and resell and sell my crafts. Still looking for clarity and organization, lol!

Good for you taking more time to enjoy your life "off line". I know it takes a ton of time to keep up a blog like yours.
If people decide to stop reading because you aren't posting something every day..so be it. Those of us who love ATG will continue to follow!
I look forward to hearing your plans.

Every week I find more and more blogs that I just love to read! Wow is what I have to say to your linky...you have a big following!
I've clicked open a ton of them.
If you have time, I would love if you would add this post to my Frugal Friday's with Marsha linky on my blog. I'm hoping to also get a nice following. I love reading and staying inspired by others.

That table will be perfect on a patio and those tiles have so much character. What a great find at an amazing price.
