I've waiting for estate sales, rummage sales and garage sales in so many places. Sometimes I wait for up to 7 hours depending on the sale. I always try to take advantage of the various architecture around me. Today I'm in Petaluma near the downtown waiting for a sale. I'm standing in a line with 20 other thrifters and dealers. There is one other woman. the rest are men. The stories are flying from the holy grail of finds to bronze sculptures that were stolen brazenly out of an antique store. This is the colorful backstory of thrifting. This waiting and visiting with fellow thrifting friends is partly why I do this. It's a strange 7:30 a.m. social hour that I love.

I hope you'll show us what you found! Marie
