The Apron Thrift Girl blog began in May of 2006 as a hobby blog with no expectations. Eventually, it would grow to become a wonderfully popular and resourceful site that is followed by many readers locally and internationally. The ATG blog continues to thrive as I share two of the passions in my life: thrifting and frugality. Sharing projects, tips, ideas and lessons I've have learned along this journey is what makes ATG unique and successful. However, successful blogging takes a great commitment and an enormous amount of time with some posts taking up to four hours to create, research, write and photograph, while others may take much less. It has become, essentially, a part-to-full-time job, but one that I love.
