Beautiful finds, especially the squirrel toy, the toadstool is incredible! Even the box art is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your thrift finds and continuing to blog even with a heavy heart.

Great finds. The first thing I do every morning is check your blog. You're a great motivtor. So I decided to try a rummage sale and my husband smiled when I came home and he saw my trunk filled to the rim. a vintage train case, a huge round glass ball, baby clothes, linens, vintage cups, craft patterns, a nightstand, 2 calico corners pillow forms. The lady at the checkout looked at everything and said how about 10.00 dollars? hope that's ok. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Can't wait for next weekend.

I love the squirrel toy--how cute. The wall hanging is beautiful, the lady who made it was so meticulous.

Marie, I love hearing a story like this, especially the description of your husbands smile. That is precious. Mine didnt smile too much when I brought home a stoneware 1970s hanging lamp with a sun on it. I took one look at his grimacing face and said Ill put it in my studio of our next house. I think your rummage sale finds are fantastic, especially because of the price. Thank you so much for sharing. xoxo Selena

Very cute Christmas things you found! The thrill of the hunt is always fun.

so sorry to hear about your mom, hugs!

What a sweet little toy. Do you have any plans for the organic striped material?
My thoughts are with you on your journey ahead, take care.

I was thinking of making some t-shirts for Keiran with the material. Some of it may need piecing together but overall there are some large pieces that could be cut out into a shirt.

The handwork on the Christmas tree is beautiful! Looks like Goody Girl Red would have enough to make another.

Somehow I have missed this information about your mother. I am so sorry that you all are going through this. Does she go to SCCA? Your family is in my prayers.

Love your Christmas wall hanging, would really love to see the ornaments (my weakness)!

Sending prayers for your mom. Hope this is a temporary feeling and good healing is soon to come.

Am I the only one who loves the squirrel end of the toy? (My toadstool days are long past.)

I found a new Friday thrift party - am linked to it in my post.

Thank goodness you had the funds to make the trip to Washington! At the end of the day, it is always the people in our lives tht mean the most. I know she will feel better having you there!

As usual you have lovely finds. My only purchase this weekend was another American Girl doll for my daughter with several outfits. Very reasonable cost and the doll is in great condition. Can't wait to see your book finds. Hope everything is well with your family.
